The yes, documented from a distance

I hide in plain sight: just another traveler on the tour, another diner at the restaurant, or someone strolling through the park with a camera. We plan it together so the moment is completely real: the genuine surprise, the trembling voice, the hug that can never be repeated. All you have to do is kneel in the right spot.

My Style

I document the moment, I don’t interrupt it

I’ve spent more than 15 years photographing weddings and love stories across Chile in a documentary style. A proposal is different from any other session: there’s only one chance, one instant, and it can never be redone. That’s why my work starts long before you arrive: we choose the spot together, the angle, the exact hour of light, and we plan how I’ll be there without being noticed.

When the moment comes, my camera is already ready and I’m already invisible. You live the surprise exactly as you imagined it; I capture the real reaction — the nerves, the tears, the yes. Afterward, we continue with a short couple’s session so you also get that first hug as an engaged couple, at a calmer pace.

I work alongside Os, my husband and assistant, coordinating every logistical detail — even in remote places like Patagonia or the desert — so the only thing you need to worry about is the ring.

How to Book

The process is this simple

01

Tell me your plan

Message me through the booking button: tell me the date, the destination you have in mind (or if you need help choosing one), and how you picture that moment.

02

We choose the spot and the exact time

Together we define the precise spot based on light, weather and the destination’s logistics, and plan how I’ll position myself so my presence goes unnoticed.

03

We secure your date

Your date is officially booked once the retainer and the electronically signed contract are received.

04

We coordinate the final details

We go over the signal for knowing when the moment is coming, the backup plan in case the weather changes, and any special detail you’d like to include (family, friends, music, the ring). If you’d like to personalize the proposal even further, I share detailed information about trusted vendors: florists, makeup artists, videographers, and more.

05

Live it, I’ll document it

On the big day, all you need to worry about is kneeling in the right spot. I’ll be there, invisible, capturing the real reaction from the very first second.

We plan the exact spot where I’ll be positioned in advance, using a telephoto lens and a distance that lets me stay unnoticed. In many destinations we also coordinate a natural cover story (a «landscape» or «travel» photo session) to justify my presence without raising suspicion.

Yes. I can suggest the destination, the time of day with the best light, and the logistics, based on my experience photographing each of these places. I don’t organize the proposal itself, but once the session is booked I share detailed information about trusted vendors to help you personalize it: florists, makeup artists and videographers, among others.

Weather is part of the adventure in destinations like Torres del Paine, Atacama or Valle Nevado. If conditions are unsafe, we work together to find the best alternative within the same trip, as established in the contract.

Transfers within Santiago are included in the Santiago packages. For Valle Nevado, San Pedro de Atacama, Torres del Paine and the Weekend Trip, flights, lodging, park or ski resort entries, and local transfers are not included and are the client’s responsibility.

The Casablanca, Santiago and Central Coast sessions include approximately 60-80 edited photos. Valle Nevado, San Pedro de Atacama and Torres del Paine include approximately 100-150 photos. The Weekend Trip delivers all edited photos from the three days.

Your images are carefully edited and delivered through a private online gallery. The delivery timeframe is specified in your contract.

No. My editing enhances the photograph, not the people in it. I don’t retouch skin, alter figures, or modify physical features. The goal is to preserve the authenticity of the moment, creating timeless images that stay true to your experience.

Of course, it’s one of the loveliest combinations to document. Tell me the idea when booking and we’ll coordinate together where they’ll hide and at what moment they’ll join the celebration.

Every proposal is different. If you have a different destination in mind, need more coverage hours, or want to add a drone, video, or a second photographer, message me and we’ll put together a custom quote.

Yes. These six are the settings I know best and travel to most often, but I can travel to other parts of Chile too. Message me with the destination you have in mind and I’ll put together a quote.

Let’s Begin

First, the ring. Then, the landscape it deserves.

Tell me the date you have in mind and the destination you’re dreaming of (or haven’t decided yet). I’d love to help make sure that moment is documented exactly as it happened, so you can relive it for the rest of your lives.
